I made apple crisp twice this week, bread twice, cookies twice. I’m once again not surprised
Conference was pretty good and this week no body wanted to talk during Fast and Testimony meeting. What are fast and testimony meetings like in Japan? Do people jump up and rush the pulpit? Is the same crusty people that tell the same stories? Does the bishop/branch president give you the eye, implying that you should come up and share something?
People actually do go quick but since there all pretty old no one really jumps and there isn’t much double up. However since there is a zoom call sometimes the people from the different places at the same time. Often they write them up beforehand. Often I don’t understand what they’re talking about n so even if they are telling the same story it’s the first time I’m understanding it. We’re often given the eye to not come up though bc the members need the time more.

Fine. Its only bad when I fall asleep on a members couch and my comp hasn’t been paying attention because he just woke up. Or when I fall asleep at church because everyone is asleep besides the branch president and my comp and I trust him to hold down the fort and not get us killed. General conference was rough because everyone was out cold.
I drank hokkaido milk and amazake.
