Is your p-day still on Mondays? Yup. I’m just inconsistently being inconsistent for inconsistencies sake. I think that’s a valid English sentence.
I at a purple blood orange yesterday.. it was very purple and from southern Japan. We went to a dishes shop and bought these little pots(the were cheap and we got them to match) to make cute little cassaroles or something in and all the old ladies(60% of people who still go outside in Japan are probably old ladies) and she stopped us before we left and gave us oranges. We’re gonna go back and visit her today. She was just like, you guys were cute(not the handsome way, the kawaii way) and then told us her older sister sent her some and gave us some too. That was cool.
My recent craving: going hiking with friends. (It’s too cold rn for japanese people)(Or volleyball, except no one in nayoro does it)
What has your recent craving been?(food or activity)
And Caemlyn, good luck on the new House. Zephram good luck on the new apartment. Kezia good luck on the new boyfriend. And Ada, good luck with the new job search. And good luck to my new green onion plant(jk, I mean, I have one but I hope it doesn’t grow on luck). I honestly can’t imagine how far and how fast everyone’s lives will change by the time I get back.
I feel like anything beyond this is just unsolicited random stuff but idk.
The dynamic in my current apartment is at weird. I feel like in college, if you had put us 4 together then we would never interact all together and it’s always… Interesting whenever that happens now.
And if you want better bread and haven’t already being using this use yudane? It’s actually worked pretty well.
Okay baiii. And if anyone wants specific japanese style, cups, shot glasses, bowls, chopsticks, serving plates, gorilla statues(idk, this one was kinda expensive when it’s not a dish, 35 bucks? for a gorilla phone stand) or anything lemme know cuz I’ll be visiting the ceramic/porcelain/dish shop more. I wonder how well they ship even with the heinous amount of padding we use in Japan. Apparently most of the ceramics can be fixed with rice water though. So that could be fun.
Okay, actually Bai, and you got this,
