みな-さん、 (Everyone,)
こんにちは！今週は楽してした。日本語のクラスはむずかしてすね。 (Hello! I had a great time this week. Japanese class is difficult.) I guess I’ll switch to English till i know what I’m actually talking about. Immersion started but it’s definitely not a much as they hyped it up for. Definitely hard at times but only in a Vocabulary sense so far. More flashcards for me i guess.
I saw Leland Parker yesterday and Jayden gets here in a week!
ジョンスきょうだい (Brother Jones) came and ate lunch with us. Also, my whole district is friends now. Learning together is fun and not really that difficult as long as a little bit of effort is put in. A lot of effort takes you very far though.
I did happen to run into Kezia(ニばんめの姉ちゃん) (second sister) on my p-day at the Timpanogas temple. What a coincidence we happened to both be at the same 9時 (am) endowment session 😁。See photos in my Google Photos, link at the bottom.
Realistically i dont have a countdown to 日本 (Japan/Nihon) but really a countdown of how long i get/have to eat at the MTC cafeteria cuz that food is both delicious and one of the nastiest things I’ve put in my mouth. I gained 3 pounds in a week and a half. Probably from the copious amounts of chocolate milk. Or the fact i eat double that of my companion. He said he wants to gain weight but he def doesnt eat enough. Tsk tsk tsk. I keep telling him he needs to eat more.
On a spiritual note, well, everything here has a note of spiritual in it and so its hard to pick any one thing. But, the best thing so far has probably been learning how to do proper missionary personal study from ジョンスきょうだい。 (Brother Jones) He gave us a kind of outline to follow and my personal study time has been much more fruitful. I highly recommend you read the PMG on how to do personal study and share it around.
