Japan Sapporo Mission -- The Frozen Chosen

Week 28

Week 28 - 釧路 - yeah.

Suh, People yelled about getting tired of sending emails and I feel like those same people are the ones with communication problems. Not saying I don’t have them because I keep sending these emails later and later but yeah… Low-key forgot my special what did I do on what day calendar I started recently because rn I’m going to zone conference. I guess one cool thing was we went to an activity that was given to us by a protector of the marimo(Japanese moss balls) because he co-host a meet up activity for college students to hang out with elementary students and all the like in-between.

Week 27

Week 26 - 釧路 - Little Brother!!!

Suh, Since Kamachi Chourou is training and still in Kushiro, I got to meet my little brother. His name is Williams Chourou and his favorite color is blue. His favorite Pokemon is piplup. *He wanted me to take the color part off but since when did I listen to my little brother. I told Toma Kaichou that I made bread and either he has a really good memory or the branch president talked about it.

Week 26

Week 25 - 釧路 - Christmas?

Ohakonbannichiwa, I started saying that and although maybe only people from Hokkaido find it funny it has been getting laughs. I suppose its the equivalent of Good Mornevenday. From Mom: How is the new year treating you? Treating me with a plentiful amount of breaks and chill time. Unfortunately, this is true whether or not you are with a friend, at the apartment, or with members. Its new years and that means naps apparently.

Week 25

Week 25 - 釧路 - Christmas?

皆さん、 (Ladies and gentlemen) Well, I officially cannot for the life of me recognize the passage of time. Not that I would claim that I could pre-mission. But it sure is humbling looking back at the past week and thinking: “wow, did anything happen?” and then remembering CHRISTMAS happened. the literal holiday that represents the birth of our lord and savior. I thought that was last week. But alas the christmas trees and decorations have already been removed and my christmas cheer has already left.

Week 24

Week 24 - 釧路 - キャロルした。(Kushiro - Carol)

Welp, このクリスマスの時期がここにありますよ! (This Christmas time is here!) Ummmm. Most of the past week has been making cookies, brownies, blondies, and then packaging and gifting it all. The branch president was surprised when I told him I didn’t need money for making the sacrament bread by hand because after thinking about it, one loaf is only 150円(1$) which is cheap. But he wouldn’t take no for an answer so apparently he’s gonna buy me flour until I leave Kushiro.
